Structural Ceilings

Structural ceilings are an ideal solution for data centers that need to suspend large, heavy items within the building. This can be anything from bus bar and cable management trays, to containment and other infrastructure. But not all ceiling structure is the same.

Our Tate Duo, Tate Strut and Tate Grid structural ceiling products are specified for use in data centers with or without access floors for the structural support and concealment of equipment and pipe above, offering a complete solution.

  • Flexible connections to the building structure anywhere along the Tate Alustra mains and up to 8 feet apart
  • Lightweight, ultra-strong ceiling system that is easy to transport and install
  • Available in standard white or black paint aluminum
  • Combining Tate Alustra with Tate light structural grid enables the creation of any desired layout, for tiles and lights.
Tate Duo Ceiling Products

By replacing custom-built, on-site structural systems with our Tate Duo structural ceiling, you can design and specify a support solution that is less expensive and faster and easier to install. But that’s not the only benefit of our Tate Duo ceiling grid. Many structural ceiling grid systems still require a secondary support system like Unistrut to maintain proper spacing of the connection points to the building. These two structural installations often come from two different installers. Because you have twice the amount of material and twice the installation time, the ceiling costs more than it needs to.

With Tate Duo, you have one ceiling grid that connects directly to the building, eliminating the second structure entirely and saving installation time and material cost.

Key Features:

  • Multiple grid patterns and configurations are available
  • Replaces custom-built on-site structural support systems such as strut
  • Fast and easy to install
  • Eliminates the need for multiple trades on-site
  • Experienced data center manufacturer and contracting teams
